NGC 7023 – Iris Nebula
NGC 7023, also known as Caldwell 4 or the Iris Nebula, is a bright reflection nebula located in the constellation Cepheus. It lies in a region of the Milky Way rich in cosmic dust, within which the nebula is embedded. It shines at an apparent magnitude of about +6.8 and is mainly illuminated by the central star HD 200775 (V380 Cephei), with a magnitude of +7.4. It is located near the Mira-type variable star T Cephei.
