B150
B150 (Barnard 150) is a dark nebula in the constellation Cepheus, also known as the Lizard Nebula because of its elongated shape. It consists of dense clouds of interstellar dust that completely block the light from stars behind them. Unlike other nebulae, it is not associated with any star that supplies it with energy, so its presence can only be detected through the contrast it creates against the stellar background. Nebulae of this kind are known as absorption nebulae.
