Sh2-173 – Phantom of the Opera Nebula

Sh2-173, known as the Phantom of the Opera Nebula, is an H II emission region in the constellation Cassiopeia. Its visual magnitude is unknown, it has an apparent size of approximately 25 × 20 arcminutes and lies about 8,800 light-years from Earth.
