IC63 – Ghost Nebula
IC63, known as the Ghost of Cassiopeia Nebula, is a combined emission and reflection nebula in the constellation Cassiopeia. It has an approximate visual magnitude of +10.00, an apparent size of 10 × 3 arcminutes and lies about 590 light-years from Earth. The nebula glows and is shaped by the intense ultraviolet radiation from the nearby star Gamma Cassiopeiae.
